Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, phone, tablet) when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognize your device and remember certain information about your visit.

2. What cookies we use

a) Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the website to function. They do not require consent.

b) Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used: which pages are visited, where visitors come from, how long they spend on the site. The data is pseudonymous — it does not contain your name or phone number.

c) Marketing cookies (Google Ads, Meta)

These cookies let us measure which ads bring beekeepers to our website and show relevant ads to people who have visited us. They are activated only with your consent.

What happens if you decline

If you decline cookies, the Google tag remains loaded on the page but operates in "Consent Mode v2": no cookies are stored on your device, and only anonymous, aggregated signals that cannot identify you are sent to Google. Meta Pixel is not loaded at all.

3. How to manage cookies

On your first visit you will see a cookie consent banner. You have three options:

  • Accept all — analytics and marketing cookies are activated
  • Necessary only — only strictly necessary cookies are used
  • Settings — choose the categories separately: Analytics and Marketing

You can change your decision at any time by clearing cookies in your browser. On your next visit you will see the consent banner again.

Browser settings

You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and site data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

4. Opting out of personalised advertising and analytics

  • Google Ads: you can turn off ad personalisation in your Google Account at myadcenter.google.com
  • Meta: you can manage your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings
  • Google Analytics: you can install the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
